Our Friendship Bench

Our Friendship Bench is located on the east side of the playground equipment.This bench is a designated location where any student who has nobody to play with or who wants to be invited to join a game can go and sit down. When fellow studetns see a child on the bench they will know that person feels lonely and will go invite them play. Once the Friendly Helpers (grade 4 peer support team) have finished their training they will daily monitor the bench and organize games the students would be interested in playing. It is our hope that all children in our school will be included and have fun playing with their peers at recess. If you have any questions or ideas feel free to contact me and let me know.
