CDA's Role

Hello from the Child Development Advisor!

I would like to introduce myself to those of you who do not know me and inform you of my unique position at Elbow Valley. My name is Mrs. Nancy Zadorozny and I am the school's CDA. My training and experience have equipped me to act in a capacity similar to that of a counsellor with our students. I work primarily in a proactive role, focussing on the strengths of each child. I work with students one to one, in small groups and in classes.

I work as a member of the school team to help provide guidance and support to students, teachers, and parents. I am also part of the school's Learning Strategies team and meet regularly to discuss the various needs of our students.
