School Council Meetings

We enjoy an active, involved school council that has accomplished many great things for our students. As parents, you are all members of the School Council and are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings.

Most meetings include reports from the Principal, a teacher representative and our School Trustee.  Topics that are discussed at council meetings include the School Education Plan, school operating budget, class sizes, special events, academic programs and achievement results.

Meetings average about an hour and a half in length and children are welcome! It is an excellent opportunity to get involved and help promote a positive sense of community within our school.

Should you have an item you wish to add to our agenda, please contact our Chairpersons, Brandi Schroeder brandi.schroeder@shaw.ca and/or Michelle Adams michelle_madams@hotmail.com in advance. The meeting agenda will be posted on the school council bulletin board prior to each meeting date.

School Council meetings are held every month and alternate between afternoons and evenings. If you cannot attend a meeting the minutes are posted on the school’s website.
