Positive Character Traits
At Elbow Valley we have decided to focus on positive character traits, which so many of our students exhibit on a daily basis. Each month we will highlight and celebrate a new character trait. These traits will be discussed in our monthly news letter, announced daily, posted on the bulletin board outsid the CDA's office, and discussed in the classrooms. The traits we are focusing on this year are:
September: Friendliness & Citizenship
October (Socktober): Caring
November: Trustworthiness
December: Determination
January: Fairness & Sportsmansip
February: Kindness
March: Self-control
April: Ambition
May: Respect for self & others (Mental Health Awareness)
June: Responsibility
